I’ve had the same issue. Close down Valence, relaunch then load another reference pic then delete it and try the original and that has worked sometime. Or load another reference pic. Then load the one you want so you have two and then delete the one you don’t want. It random on what works.

This is an issues I’ve been trying to track down for a while. If possible please email support@hi-rez.io with the problematic valence file so I can debug it on my side!
Easiest work around, restart the app. Will hopefully be fixed in the next few updates.
