Since the last update when I do a simple bevel on edge, it looks like that the geometry is cut in 2 part.

Do you have a picture of what you are referring to? I just tried it on a base square and didn’t notice anything different.
I believe I understand what you are referring to or I found a unrelated bug.
I created a cylinder. Put a loop cut in the middle, then click the bevel. Select the new loop cut and expand. That works fine but as soon as you try and subdivide the cylinder it corrupts the mesh. It can be repaired though. Tried it on two iPad’s. Same results.
This has been fixed in version 1.1.9!
